Sport and thrills in Dubai with Scoot2Street

Dubai is often considered to be the kingdom of abundance: the hotels are the height of luxury, the huge shopping centres are overflowing with products of all kinds and the restaurants are ever more gastronomically extravagant. This excess is also reflected in sports and leisure facilities that sometimes defy belief. Antoine, from the YouTube channel "Scoot2Street", is passionate about sport and thrills. Here are his 6 favourite adrenaline-pumping activities and spots in Dubai.

1. Riding at the XPark skatepark in Dubai, the most expensive in the world

The huge XPark in Dubai is one of the most expensive skateparks in the world, with an estimated total value of 4.5 million euros, so you can imagine its potential! Whether on a scooter, BMX, rollerblades or skateboard, skateboard enthusiasts can take on dozens of obstacles and bowls, craters and slopes.

There's something for all ages, all levels and all tastes. Budding riders can even take lessons to learn how to freestyle like a pro. This is undoubtedly the best skatepark in Dubai, and we'd almost go so far as to say it's the best in the world.

"It's one of the most expensive skateparks in the world, and it's famous for that. It's huge with beautiful colours and palm trees in the skatepark. Frankly, it's great fun to ride!"

3. Jet-skiing in the Arabian Gulf

There's no need to introduce the jet-ski, the water bike that glides along the surface of the water at speeds of up to 80 kilometres per hour. In Dubai's marina, you can see them playing with the waves at all hours of the day. It's the perfect way to get your thrills, while enjoying an unparalleled panoramic view of Dubai's mythical skyline, with the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and the city's other towers clearly visible.

We race, we splash around with the machine and, sometimes, we lose control and fall headfirst into the warm waters of the Arabian Gulf: a morning full of laughter and excitement!

"I had no idea you could fall off a jet-ski, so we had a good laugh!"

4. Take on the desert dunes in a buggy

After the sea, head for the desert. In a 4x4 or buggy, accelerating on the sand and slaloming between the dunes brings its share ofadrenalin and dopamine. At dusk, as the last rays of the sun adorn the desert with a very special atmosphere, we head off to a traditional Bedouin camp to spend the evening.

Oriental shows, shisha, henna tattoos, camel rides... everything you need for an authentic and unforgettable experience. When night falls, you can gather around a delicious, typically Dubai barbecue in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

"We met some incredible people, it was a great day out with the camels and everything... We're typically in THE Dubai, in fact, it's magnificent."
