Côte d'Azur

The name Côte d'Azur immediately conjures up a host of images...

Côte d'Azur in short

The Côte d'Azur, sun, sea and a taste for luxury

The natural setting of this corner of France is just fantastic.

⛰️ At the foot of the mountains of the Southern Alps, the Mediterranean coastline offers sun-drenched beaches, coves and islands.

For those who like to relax and enjoy the sea, resorts such as Mandelieu la Napoule, Golfe-Juan and Juan-les-Pins are just what you're looking for.

🏖️ You'll find sandy beaches, bars and restaurants with sea views...

🍴 As well as its geographical riches, the Côte d'Azur offers visitors its typical gastronomy made up of fresh produce bursting with sunshine.

In this sense, the Côte d'Azur can lend itself to the celebration of a honeymoon.

So why not tie the knot in a legendary palace and enjoy a gourmet meal in an extraordinary restaurant?

A cultural agenda with an international dimension

🎺 All year round, festivals, concerts and exhibitions enliven the towns along the Côte d'Azur coastline.

Some events are internationally renowned.

📽️ The most legendary is the Cannes Festival, which bewitches the region for a few days in May.

🎷 The Juan-les-Pins Jazz Festival is another not-to-be-missed event. It brings the balmy nights of July alive with the sound of jazz and mixed music...

In winter, the Corso de Nice and the Fête du Citron in Menton liven up the cool winter days.

The parades with their colourful floats and flowers add to the family atmosphere of these flagship events on the Côte d'Azur.

The Côte d'Azur by night

The nights of the Côte d'Azur are as brilliant as its sunny days!

🍴 So, after a meal in a gourmet restaurant or a typical pizzeria in old Nice, you'll have a choice of activities.

🎰 To continue your evening, you can head to one of the many seaside gambling casinos.

🍦 Alternatively, why not take a stroll and enjoy an ice cream along the Croisette in Cannes or the Promenade des Anglais in Nice?

💃 Later, the night clubs take over. The golden youth flock to the clubs in Cannes or Nice.

The Côte d'Azur is not just a myth, it's a vibrant region, where the light, culture and good addresses will make your holiday unforgettable!

There's something for everyone here, whether you're a family with children, a group of friends or a couple, you'll always find a surprising activity to share.

How to get there?

✈️ By plane, the Côte d'Azur is linked to many destinations via Nice-Côte d'Azur airport. It is France's second-largest airport.

It also serves many European cities. International connections are the most important outside Paris (flights to Dubai and New York).

🛥️ The ports of Nice, Cannes, Antibes and Menton are top-class marinas for pleasure boats and yachts.

From Nice ferries run daily to Corsica.

🚈 By train, the SNCF offers TGV high-speed trains between Paris and Nice. The other stations in the towns of the Alpes-Maritimes department are served by TER trains from Nice.

🚐 By bus, several lines link the Nice bus station to all the towns on the Côte d'Azur.

Where to stay?

⭐ During the high season, from April to October, you'll be spoilt for choice on the Côte d'Azur coastline.

From family campsites to 5* Palaces with top-of-the-range services, the accommodation on offer is complete.

Note that outside the summer months, the range of accommodation is limited, especially in winter.

Conversely, at the height of summer, the flow of visitors makes it difficult to book rooms. So make sure you book as early as possible. As a bonus, you'll benefit from preferential rates!
