All summer long, for every stay of at least 5 days in an Arc 1950 establishment, the Village offers every adult and child the chance to discover outdoor activities free of charge. With the Outdoor Pass, a nominative offer, you will have access to three activities to choose from during your stay:
Discovery :
- Introduction to mountain biking: this activity is reserved for children aged 8 to 12. They can try mountain biking in the Les Arcs Bikepark, which has 149 km of marked trails for all levels. During their initiation they will learn how to handle a mountain bike, and can learn to steer on their first descents on the resort's three green runs. The Bikeparc is also open free of charge to children under 5 at all times.
- Accompanied walks, whether leisurely for children or more sporty for adults. A plunge into nature to discover the flora and fauna with a mountain expert.
- Trail running for children aged 17 and over and adults. A different way of trail running, with breaks to admire the exceptional views of Mont Blanc and the Tarentaise Valley.
- Nordic walking: a real sport, Nordic walking is not just about putting one foot in front of the other, but also about using your arms and poles to propel your body forward to walk faster. A cardio sport to discover at Arc 1950 this summer.
Wellbeing
- Step: A fun activity for all the family to enjoy in a square in the Arc 1950 Village. With music, jump and choreograph around a step (a plastic accessory that simulates a stair step). But while it may seem simple, the choreography can quickly become more complex depending on the level of the participants, and you'll need to concentrate to show your coordination skills. One thing's for sure, you'll be having a laugh while doing some sport at the same time.
- Fitness: another activity to enjoy together, with lots of moves to do to music too.
- Zumba: The most popular dance class, with zumba you'll learn salsa, merengue, mambo, cumba and samba steps combined with cardio moves to move to Latin music. A great activity to share with your teenager.
Accuracy:
- Archery. A great sport to discover in the mountains. Of course, you'll have to watch the target, but it's also a great way to spend time in the great outdoors. The French Archery Federation recommends that children aged 7 and over take up the sport. Younger children will be able to watch their brothers and sisters.
- Archery Tag: a little-known activity that children are 100% enthusiastic about, combining archery and paintball. As a team, you'll have to shoot at the other players or at targets while protecting your camp. A great way to build team spirit.
- Golf Archery: this sport combines golf and archery. A golfer and an archer play in pairs on the same course.
