You've chosen the venue and you're ready to take the plunge? But what are you going to wear for this unique moment?
It doesn't matter whether the weather's fine or not - if it's nice on the ground, and even if the sun is shining brightly, it won't be the same up there!
For the spring/summer/autumn seasons, it's advisable to wear warm clothing, such as a fleece or cotton t-shirt with a windbreaker, for example, so that you feel comfortable. We usually recommend wearing trousers and a top with long sleeves.
In winter, you can wear your ski suit and a ski bonnet under your helmet.
For safety reasons, good boots are the first thing you need. High boots are preferable to protect your ankles on landing; trainers are tolerated but less stable, given that practising this sport naturally requires you to put all your body weight on your feet. Finally, whatever the weather, it's essential to wear sunglasses when paragliding, as it's vital not to be attacked by the wind, the sun or any missiles during the flight. It is advisable to wear class 3 goggles and even a ski mask in winter.
In winter, you can also practice this activity with your skis on.
