Snake gliss, a great après-ski activity

Whether you're a skier or not, you're going to have a great time as a family, with plenty of thrills and laughs too, thanks to an unusual new activity: Snake Gliss. Children and adults alike can enjoy this fun activity together after a day's skiing. Depending on the participants, the Snake Gliss can be adapted for the little ones with a very easy descent, but it can also be much more sporting if the 12 sledges are occupied by adults looking for a thrill. Snake Gliss is a must-do activity that's already available in 14 ski resorts in France, including Les 2 Alpes.

What is Snake Gliss?

Snake gliss is a new mountain activity for anyone who loves sliding down the slopes! It consists of several identical sleds assembled together, headed by an experienced instructor who steers the snake down the piste.

On the sleds at the head of the line, just behind the instructor, the sensations will be more limited, but if you want a more eventful descent, choose the seats at the end of the snake.

Who is Snake Gliss for?

In the Les 2 Alpes ski area, Snake Gliss is available for children aged 6 and over and for all adults capable of classic tobogganing. It's an original activity that's also great fun to do with friends or during a seminar with your work colleagues.

What should you wear for Snake Gliss?

As with skiing, you'll be practising the activity on ski slopes, so it's advisable to dress in the same outfit, i.e. a ski suit. There's a good chance you'll end up with your bottom in the snow, so make sure you have at least one piece of waterproof clothing.

If you do Snake Gliss at the end of the day, wearing a hat under your helmet is a must. Even though you may not go as fast as you would on skis, Snake Gliss is still a thrilling activity.

You'll also need warm gloves, après-ski boots or a snowboard. Ski boots are forbidden as they are dangerous for your team-mates in the event of a fall.

For your safety, the instructor can lend you a ski helmet. Not compulsory but strongly recommended.
