Recharge your batteries in a high-altitude restaurant

Eating in a mountain restaurant is an essential part of any stay in the mountains, whether in winter when you're taking a break from a day's skiing or in summer after a good hike. Les 2 Alpes ski resort has no fewer than nine restaurants and fast-food outlets where you can dine with a breathtaking view of the snow-capped peaks, even in summer. For added convenience, all the high-altitude restaurants on this list are ski-in/ski-out, but unless you're really brave, you'll also need access to the ski lifts for a drink, snack or meal.
