1 hour from Nantes, discover these 100% eco-friendly luxury lodges (in the heart of nature!)

Located in the heart of the forest, 15 minutes from the beaches of La Baule, Domaine de Pan is a hybrid of luxury hotels and villas. As part of an eco-responsible approach, the estate and its lodges are self-sufficient in terms of electricity and water, not to mention the food that tourists find in the semi-gastronomic restaurant. Accommodation is available for families, groups or individuals wishing to reconnect with nature.

Eco-friendly accommodation and services

The 4* Domaine de Pan is the first in a long line of tourist accommodation from the Astonomia group (meaning "autonomy" in Latin), which combines luxury and ecology. Just a stone's throw from the beaches of La Baule in the Loire-Atlantique region, the Domaine de Pan offers lodges in the heart of nature in unusual surroundings. In a villa, in the old stables or in deluxe tents in the middle of the forest, the rooms and suites have been designed with sustainability in mind, offering optimum comfort.

An autonomous place

As its name suggests, the Astonomia group is committed to self-sufficiency. The estate produces its own renewable electricity using photovoltaic panels. The water produced on site is made drinkable by biological treatment. As for waste water treatment, an ecological method has been put in place: phytodepuration.

The restaurant has a vegetable garden and fruit trees to provide organic, semi-gastronomic cuisine. Beehives have been installed in the Brière Regional Nature Park, and the honey harvested is served to tourists at breakfast. Local producers and seasonal foods are also favoured by the restaurant's chefs.
