The hotel has 327 rooms. Most are standard rooms, 2 are suites and 6 are deluxe rooms (the only ones to have been renovated). All are located outside, scattered throughout the estate. Each bungalow has 16 rooms, 4 of which have the advantage of a view of the Nile. All standard rooms have twin beds. They are pleasantly decorated in light tones, air-conditioned and well-equipped: wooden furniture, satellite TV (TV5, France 24 and Arte), direct international line, coffee-tea kit, internet access (Wi-Fi connection at no extra charge) and even, a practical detail, candles and a mosquito repellent plug, very useful for a good night's sleep.

70 rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs. Last but not least, the rooms have two strong points: they are particularly spacious and they have the advantage of being located in a quiet, natural setting. On the other hand, the bathroom, which is relatively spacious, is less attractive. Built in 1983 and renovated in 2006, the Jolie Ville is a huge and original hotel complex. It offers a wide range of services. Located far from the city centre, it was built on a 65,000 m² island known as "Crocodile Island", of which it occupies the majority. The facilities that make it up are far apart, which means you'll have to do a bit of walking.

The natural surroundings make it a very pleasant place to stay. The establishment is located on the banks of the Nile, and includes a small zoo, two tennis courts, swimming pools with slides, a children's club, several bars and restaurants, a doctor's surgery, a fitness room... In short, a host of services spread throughout the estate, which also includes rooms in the form of small bungalows. The setting is so different from the other hotels in Luxor that you get the impression you are no longer in Egypt but somewhere else. It's a pleasant place to stay. Except for the second swimming pool, which is also the largest with a children's play area (unsupervised pool), which is very lively with techno music.

Located in the centre of Luxor, the Pyramisa Hotel Luxor enjoys an exceptional location: close to the city's main tourist attractions, on the banks of the Nile. An idyllic view that is best enjoyed from the two beautiful outdoor pools or from the chicha corner, which is very pleasant in the evening. This is a standard hotel, chosen above all for its outdoor setting.

The Pyramisa Isis is located 11 km from Luxor airport, close to various cultural tourist sites: Luxor Temple (2.5 km); Karnak Temple (5.5 km); Valley of the Kings (12 km); Grand Bazaar (2.5 km). If you take a taxi, agree the price with the driver before you get in. The same applies if you opt for a horse-drawn carriage ride. Prices are generally reasonable.

The hotel has 480 rooms, including 43 suites, spread over 6 floors. If possible, when booking, ask for a room on the top floors. You will have a better view of the Nile, even though most of the rooms (362 to be precise) face the Nile, 118 overlook the city. The standard rooms offer a good level of comfort. We're not so keen on the carpeted floors (which are always worse than parquet), which don't really fit in with the rest of the room. The wooden furniture is a little dated, but the overall look is decent: nice curtains, fine sheets, comfortable bedding, coffee/tea kit, television and safe (no extra charge). The bathroom is spacious and pleasant. It has a large bath, and towels and toiletries are provided.

With 3 restaurants offering Italian, Asian and Egyptian cuisine, the hotel is one of the largest in Luxor. It has a gigantic lobby with piano bar, shops, discotheque and numerous rooms. Despite the large number of guests, the size of the premises means you won't feel cramped. Outside, there are two beautiful swimming pools with sun loungers and parasols, surrounded by beautiful, well-kept gardens.

This hotel has the advantage of being located on the west bank, and even better, on the very road that leads to the sites you've come to visit: Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut's Funerary Temple, Valley of the Nobles, the Colossi of Memnon, Medinat Habu, Valley of the Monkeys. By bike, they're not far away.
