As summer goes, many Londoners might leave the city for their holidays. However, don't forget that sandy beaches aren't all you need to enjoy your summer. Spirited Away on Stage

Whether you grew up with the magical world of Studio Ghibli films or not, it's never too late to discover this unique world! Prepare to be enchanted by the theatrical adaptation of the Oscar-winning film Spirited Away. The magnificent London Coliseum is the setting for this three-hour show performed by the original Japanese cast, accompanied by a live orchestra playing the film's soundtrack created by Joe Hisaishi. You'll be amazed not only by the talents of the musicians, but also by the choreography throughout the show, the magnificent costumes that set the mood for each character and the use of imposing puppets. Astronomy Photographer of the Year Exhibition

Anthony & Cleopatra

From 4th August to 15th September

Once again, the Shakespeare Globe is the place to be for all Shakespeare lovers. It will be hosting the play “Antony and Cleopatra”, where power meets love. This production is unique in that it will be produced in two languages: spoken English and British Sign Language. However, if you are not bilingual, don't worry, you will still be able to follow the play easily as it will be subtitled. Summer on the Square Festival

From 1st August to 1st September

Organised by the National Gallery, the Summer on the Square festival will delight families and all art lovers. This free event, which will be held opposite the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square, will feature a wide range of workshops and talks. Take part in a tour of the gallery with educators to find out more about the different paintings in the gallery. Moreover, children will be happy to participate in creative activities where they will put their creativity into action and create their own work of art. There's no need to book, as places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Celebrate Afternoon Tea Week

From 12th to 18th August

If you're British, or at least British at heart, it's time to celebrate a delicious moment with Afternoon Tea Week! F1 Exhibition

Whether you're passionate or intrigued by the racing universe, head to ExCeL London to discover the F1 exhibition, as it is finally coming to London.
