The building that currently houses the Círculo de Bellas Artes was built between 1921 and 1926 and is worth a visit in itself. Crowned by an imposing bronze sculpture of the Roman goddess of wisdom and art, Minerva, by Juan Luis Vassallo, the building stands on a massive rectangular structure forty-eight metres high. Here are the different rooms of the Círculo de Bellas Artes (CBA), spread over six floors, connected by a monumental marble staircase.
