The thousand and one lights of the Strip are dazzling. The city's main thoroughfare, Las Vegas Boulevard (more commonly known as the Strip) has become the symbol of excess. If there's one folly that the whole world associates with Las Vegas, it's the express wedding. Many chapels have been built in Old Vegas. Each one more kitsch than the last, they offer up weddings by the minute, with Elvis Presley or Marilyn Monroe as masters of ceremony.
