Three sensational summer activities

Courchevel offers a variety of activities for adventure-seekers in summer. If you like hiking, there are some great walks around the resort, as well as more thrilling activities such as mountain biking in the large Bike Park, paragliding and Via Ferrata. Cycling enthusiasts can take advantage of Courchevel's Bike Park for speedy descents down the mountains. With several routes of varying levels, there's something for everyone, from beginners to experienced riders. The trails are laid out with jumps, tight turns and technical descents for an incredible mountain biking experience. Paragliding offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, as you fly over the Alps in tandem with an instructor. And if you're not too keen on vertigo, there are several Via Ferrata routes close to Courchevel, including the via ferrata at Lac de la Rosière and Croix de Verdons.
