The municipality of Erquy borders a large stretch of coastline.
You'll find a wide variety of seascapes. The most remarkable feature is the large number of sandy beaches! Starting in the western part of the commune, you'll find the beach at Saint-Pabu, a beautiful stretch of coastline between the hill and the English Channel. Note that the beach is closed to animals from 15 May to 15 September Next, you'll head off to the sandy beach of Caroual, one of the most beautiful in the resort. With its long ribbon of fine sand, it's ideal for the whole family to enjoy. What's more, the beach is supervised during the summer season. The beach is a lively place in summer, where you can enjoy a wide range of water sports and activities.
The Plage du Centre, as its name suggests, is at the heart of the Erquy resort, just before the fishing port. From the Plage du Centre, head up towards the beaches of Cap d'Erquy, before reaching the remarkable wild beaches of Lourtuais, Portuais, Guen and Lanruen. Finally, there are the fine sandy beaches of Saint-Michel and Les Montiers, near the islet of Saint-Michel, to the east of the resort of Erquy. Saint-Michel provides access on foot to the islet of Saint-Michel (only at low tide).
