Practical information

When to come and enjoy the activity and luxury of Porto-Vecchio?

Porto-Vecchio is at its busiest from the end of June to the beginning of September, with a peak between mid-July and mid-August. The rest of the year, the atmosphere is quieter. In the depths of winter, Porto-Vecchio is particularly quiet and many service providers are closed.

🚌 How do I get to the town centre and marina in Porto-Vecchio?

From the Ville Haute simply follow the D359 road. Arriving from the south of the town, you need to take the D768 road and the D368 road. Bear in mind that you can reach the marina by bus. Luckily, the town's bus station is just a stone's throw from the port of Porto-Vecchio.

Finally, there is an electric shuttle bus, which is completely free of charge. With the typically Corsican name of "A Citadina", the network connects the town centre, the port and all the major car parks in the town all year round. In summer, from June to August, the shuttle runs every 15 minutes. Services run every day from 8.10am to 11.30pm. In low season, the shuttle runs every 20 minutes. The service also runs every day from 8.10am to 7.30pm, although on Sundays the service is reduced. Operating hours are therefore limited to 08:10 to 13:30.

For addresses further away from the city centre, the easiest way to get there is with your own vehicle.

🚗 Where can I park near Porto-Vecchio's popular areas?

Car parks near the Porto-Vecchio marina are subject to a charge. You'll find several car parks around the marina. The private structures listed above all have private car parks (sometimes subject to a charge).
