A unique zoo in Brittany

Here at Trégomeur Zoo Park, you'll feel like you've just started on an extraordinary journey!

Trégomeur Zoo boasts over 300 animals from around sixty different species. They all come from Asia and the island of Madagascar.

Some of the exotic species on display include

  • the Malayan tapir
  • the Asiatic lion
  • ****the red panda****
  • the ash otter
  • Malay bear

The birds are not to be outdone: you can also see the Manchurian crane, the Victoria goura and the colourful Edwards' pheasant.

Unfortunately, these remarkable species are often endangered in their countries of origin.

To help protect them, the Zoo Parc de Trégomeur is committed to saving endangered species!

As a member of the EAZA (European Association of Zoos and Aquariums), it actively contributes to various European breeding programmes (EEP).

In fact, these are veritable scientific charters for safeguarding and managing animal populations.
