After a day spent wandering the Strip to discover all its madness and marvelling at the city's hotels, a cultural visit will enhance the day. Head to Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street for a unique experience in old Las Vegas. This legendary district is home to Las Vegas' historic hotel-casinos, including the El Cortez, Golden Nugget, Fremont, Four Queens and Binion's.
After a cultural excursion, it's time for some fun and thrills. The best way to do this is to go to the top of the Stratosphere Tower, which is none other than the tallest tower in Las Vegas and the state of Nevada, standing at 350 metres at its highest point. With such a height, it's not surprising that the view over the city is magnificent.
But what makes this building so special are the attractions located at the top. Adrenalin with Big Shot: a shuttle that catapults passengers 50 metres into the air, or X-Scream: a sort of rollercoaster that sends passengers out of the tower, suspended 300 metres above the void.

For this last day in Nevada, let's set off to conquer the great outdoors in the Mojave Desert, for example, which could be an opportunity to discover the surprising Valley of Fire desert. It's only an hour's drive away.
If you're in the mood for an even more memorable adventure, opt for the discovery of the Grand Canyon, a must-see on the American continent. Grandiose. The Grand Canyon is in Arizona, but the Arizona border is close to Las Vegas.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Grand Canyon National Park is one of the United States' natural gems. Over a billion years old, this geological wonder has some impressive features, covering 5,000 km² and with canyons up to 1,800 metres deep.
There are several excursions from Las Vegas. You may prefer to get there on your own, but American buses are spacious, practical and air-conditioned. They're a great opportunity to let yourself go, but also to get to know Californians or Americans from other states, who are naturally friendly and often jovial.
See the Grand Canyon West + Hoover Dam
Grand Canyon West bus tourYou'll have to drive 450 km to get to the Canyon, which is around 5 hours one way, so you'll be doing 900 km in a day. No mean feat. But it's an opportunity to cross Joshua Tree National Park, see Hoover Dam, cross the Colorado River and finally reach the West Rim of the Grand Canyon.
You'll set off early in the morning and have a snack for breakfast, if you didn't have time to have one at your hotel. Your driver will quickly brief you on the sites you'll be passing through.
After about an hour's drive, you'll reach the Arizonan border, at Hoover Dam. You'll be invited to photograph it and enjoy the panoramic view of the Bypass Bridge over the Colorado River.
Once there, you'll have access to the Skywalk, a belvedere that juts out over the Grand Canyon to give you the best view of it. With Getyourguide.co.uk you'll get a ticket (and yes, you won't be alone there!), which is great, as it's going to be hot and your itinerary for the day is timed. Take your time and enjoy this unique landscape.
Depending on the package you choose, it will be possible to make a loop through Joshua Tree Park, a park featuring the Joshua tree and crossed by the legendary Route 66, south of Las Vegas.
