Oyster farming dates back to 1880 in the Pô district, making it one of the oldest oyster farming sites in France!
The production site is ideally located in the heart of Quiberon Bay, not far from Plouharnel Bay. What's more, the climate in this corner of Southern Brittany is ideal for oyster production!
There are still over thirty producers in the area.
Otherwise, the landscape alone is worth the trip, the atmosphere changing according to the tides and winds that blow through the area.
So, photographers, choose the beginning or the end of the day. The light is divine here at dawn or dusk!
The Po area lends itself well to family discovery. You can alternate between visiting the oyster farms and strolling along the bay and coves.
